World Conference of Islamic Scholars-2003

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad delivers his opening speech at the World Conference of Islamic Scholars in Putrajaya, 10 July 2003. In his speech Mahathir said Muslims were easily oppressed and defeated in war because false religious teachings have made them backward.
