KARACHI, PAKISTAN: Former Malysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad (C), governor of Pakistan's southern Sindh province, Ishratul Ebad ( L) and human rights activist Sadia Rashid (R) attend a conference titled 'International moot on Muslim Ummah (nations) in the Modern World', in Karachi, 03 September 2004. In the opening session of the three-day conference, organised by non-governmental organisation Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, the Malaysian leader spoke extensively on the challenges being faced by the Muslims across the world.
