ALOR SETAR, Sept 26 — Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad described the late Tan Sri Azizan Abdul Razak as a good friend despite their political differences.
He said Azizan, the former Kedah menteri besar, had not been extreme in politics and was cordial towards all.
According to him, Azizan was also one who would oblige requests from the public regardless of the political party they belonged to when he was an assemblyman and menteri besar.
